Haines® SlipperySally® Slide Tubes (also known as ‘move tubes’) are designed to streamline patient transfers with ease. Featuring slide sheets sewn into tubes, they provide smooth, efficient movement without the need for an additional slide sheet. Ideal for general ward use, this single-patient use option can be wiped down as needed or disposed of after use, helping eliminate the risk of cross-contamination associated with reusable move tubes, while ensuring a hygienic, ready-to-use solution for patient handling.

Available in two sizes—Bed to Bed Tube for lateral transfers from bed to theatre, X-ray table, stretcher, or other surfaces, and Chair Size Tube for rehab exercises, patient transfers, and equipment positioning—the SlipperySally Slide Tube is made from durable silicone-coated polyester taffeta with a heat-sealed sewn join for added strength and multi-directional movement.

With consistent slip quality (unlike over-laundered reusable tubes), the SlipperySally Slide Tube eliminates delays in patient handling, so caregivers don’t have to wait for reusable tubes to be returned from laundry. Radiolucent for use during X-rays and CT scans, it also offers significant cost savings—about one-third the price of reusable tubes, with no laundering costs.

SlipperySally® Slide Tube  - Single Patient Use - Chair Size Tube:

Ideal for rehab exercises, patient transfers and equipment positioning. SlipperySally is a slippery material sewn into a 45cm x 90 cm tube and if often referred to as a chair sized tube.

• Ideal for assisting with:
  • Rehab exercises – reducing friction during arm and leg exercises, for example
  • Seated transfers – in and out of vehicles, chairs etc – to reduce carer and client effort
