Haines Social Responsibility

The Gift Project

Wildlife rescue, safe patient handling, injury prevention and the environment lead us to join forces with Sarah, a dedicated Nurse who had a great idea to reuse hospital manual handling equipment like SlipperySally Slide Sheets and Air Transfer Devices to rescue sick and injured animals.

International Medical Aid

Haines regularly supports medical professionals who travel to third world countries as part of aid missions, and we are pleased to assist them with PPE for themselves and medical supplies to help deliver healthcare in times of extreme stress and hardship.

Read our stories below from Suva, Solomon Islands, Haiti, Bali, Vietnam and Nepal

Right now, Haines are working with The Stables Christian Church to pack and send a range of medical supplies and furniture to Papua New Guinea. They are in urgent need of a range of medical products to assist with the impact of COVID, obstetrics, theatre and palliative care.

If you’re able please reach out or visit their Donations page if you’re able to help us raise funds to ship the products to Papua New Guinea.

The Cancer Council and The Marilyn Jetty Swim

Fours things dear to our heart. Preventing Cancer, helping to look after people, the beach and having fun.

Many of our staff live by the beach and more have been touched by Cancer and that’s why each year we choose to sponsor a group of ladies who dress up as Marilyn Monroe and Swim around Brighton Jetty to raise money for The Cancer Council.

Childhood Cancer Association’s Respite Homes

Haines has supported the Childhood Cancer Association for over a decade and routinely help them with Christmas Gifts, pillows and linen for  their respite homes that provide a much needed break and a bit of light relief for families supporting their children with cancer.
